Terms and Conditions - Sunflower Competition
The competition is open to residents of the UK living within a 40 mile radius of Freshney Place Shopping Centre. Registration for entry must be received by 1 July 2008. Entry excludes employees of

Freshney Place

, its retailers, members of their families, their agents and anyone connected with the competition. By entering the competition, the entrant is bound by the terms and conditions. Only one entry per leaflet, per household is permitted. Only registration entries received on the original leaflet entry form or registered online will be permitted. Photocopies will not be accepted. Entrants can use sunflower seeds that were not supplied by the Centre to take part in the competition. 1 x 1st prize for the tallest sunflower is £500 of holiday vouchers. 1 x 2nd prize for the biggest flower head is £150 of National Garden Gift Vouchers. 1 x 3rd prize for the smallest sunflower which has a full head in bloom is a wheelbarrow of assorted gardening products the total value being £75. All sunflowers must be measured insitu at the entrants contact address, from the ground to the top of the sunflower head, and sunflowers must be in full bloom. Entrants must contact the Centre in person by phone or email info@freshneyplace.co.uk by 1 September 2008 to report the size of their sunflower. Only the five tallest, five tiniest and five with the biggest heads will be measured by the judges. The smallest sunflowers must have a sunflower head and be in bloom. All sunflowers will be measured by an independent judging team. Only living, and no artificial sunflowers will be accepted. Judging will take place between 5 - 12 September 2008, winners will be notified by 15 September 2008 and arrangements will then be made to receive the prizes. The winners will be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from the draws and the promoter reserves the right to feature the name, photograph and details of the winners for future promotions. The promoter does not accept responsibility for registrations that are lost. Registrations that are illegible, incomplete, damaged, altered, amended or defaced will not be accepted. The winners’ names will be available from 17 September 2008 on the Freshney Shopping Centre website www.freshneyplace.co.uk The promoter and judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
